Growing up, I was an avid reader and found that my world grew larger the more I read. Among my top reads, I always came back to an old favorite: “Travels” by Michael Crichton. His personal memoir was a fresh take on traveling the world and exploring anything and everything foreign, from swimming with sharks in Tahiti to delving into his personal path of spirituality.

 

Reading his words, I grew more and more inspired to echo the same tenacity in exploring the world and experiencing its beauties and complexities first hand. I channel the same desire for adventure and quest for knowledge in my everyday life.

 

So I did it; Officially left my job to travel the world, volunteer and meet some incredible people! I hit a quarter-life crisis, and decided it was time to hit the road.
